IFilterDDoc.dll hangs the Search service

description

After installing the wssDigiDoc on SharePoint Server 2007 (run on Windows Server 2008 and uses SQL Server 2005) and registering the filter dll in system (regsvr32 <filter>), the SharePoint Search server stopped working and eventLog contained the following:
Application Server job failed for service instance Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance (d125bb30-3890-4bc7-939c-d709b534f2a1).
 
Reason: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040D1B

at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.ApplicationServerJob.ProvisionLocalSharedServiceInstances(Boolean isAdministrationServiceJob)
 
When the filter was unregistered (regsvr32 /u <filter>), the Search Server was able to work again.

the ifilter should be rewritten from scratch.
